You want your wedding to be a happy affair where all of your guests are having a good time. As you create your guest list for your reception at the Crystal Ballroom in Altamonte Springs, you need to make the decision as to whether or not your wedding is going to include children. If you have a lot of friends and family with children, it’s an easy decision. However, children are sometimes disruptive. Here are a few things you can do for the youngest guests at your wedding to keep them busy and out of trouble.

Child’s Area

Give your youngest guests their own place to enjoy the wedding. You can start by adding a shorter table and chairs that meet their height requirement. Offer a special child’s menu so that they can enjoy the food. Set out some games and small toys that don’t make a tremendous amount of toys for them to enjoy and occupy their time.

Coloring Pack

Don’t just set out a couple of coloring pages and four crayons for children at your wedding. Create a deluxe coloring pack. It can include a coloring book, sticker book and one with watercolors on the back. You can attach a large 48 or 64 pack of crayons, colored pencils, markers and a small paintbrush. This way they can spend hours creating works of art.

LEGO Creations

Take mason jars and fill them with all different sizes and colors of LEGO blocks. You can buy the large flat green squares to create LEGO houses, trees and cars and then take them home. On the center of the table, place a bucket of LEGO people for the kids to add to their creations.
