While planning a wedding is a task that many women dream about from the time they are little girls, it is also a task that may quickly become an insurmountable source of stress for modern brides. When, as little girls, they once daydreamed about their choice of wedding dress, selection of flowers, and choice of music for their ceremony, they also, in their innocency, were unencumbered by the busyness that comes with having a career, family commitments, and social obligations. If you, like many of today’s brides are struggling with getting all the details for your wedding ironed out, we would like to recommend five simple steps to make sure all your wedding day bases are covered.

Step 1: Choose your date.

This will, of course, need to be co-ordinated with your fiancé. It is also in your best interest to give due consideration to the schedules of both of your families.

Step 2: Choose your venue.

Some couples strongly desire a traditional church wedding, although more and more, we are seeing couples exchange their vows on-site at our Crystal Ballroom wedding locations. There are pro’s and con’s of each, and the decision is entirely a personal one. We do, however, believe that as the premier event venue in central Florida, our wedding packages are the perfect way to begin a future together.

Step 3: Choose your wardrobe.

The bride’s gown sets the tone for the wedding and reception. It is not necessary to have your gown when you book a wedding at the Crystal Ballroom, however, knowing what type of gown you will be wearing will help give our designers an idea of what type of event you desire. Additionally, after making your reservation, one of our designers will reach out to you regarding your vision for the event.

Step 4: Handle all the details.

This is the part that bogs down many brides. As a busy woman, you could use your lunch hours and breaks during the day to call photographers, bakers, florists, and caterers, but why spend all your time playing phone tag with them when we can use our professional affiliations with local businesses for you? Additionally, while there are some details our “day of event coordinator” can not handle for you, like obtaining a marriage license, there are many tasks that our “day of event coordinators” CAN help you with. Step 5: Breathe, relax, and enjoy your day.

You just planned and successfully pulled off an amazing wedding and extravagant, memorable reception… like a boss.
